What is CSCS  

 

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry.

 

CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

Apprentice Card

 

This card is available to people who have commenced on a recognised apprenticeship framework. This card is valid for four years and six months, and cannot be renewed.

Experienced Worker Card

 

This card is available to workers with on the job experience (normally at least one year in the last three). The card is valid for one year and it cannot be renewed.

Skilled Worker Card

​

You can apply for this card if you have either achieved a construction related NVQ or SVQ level 2 or

completed an employer sponsored apprenticeship.

Supervisory Card

​

This card is available for supervisor occupations subject to the achievement of a Construction Related Supervisory NVQ or SVQ level 3 or 4.

Manager Card

​

This card is available for manager occupations subject to either achievement of a Construction related NVQ/SVQ levels 5/6/7 or holding an NVQ level 4 in construction management.

To apply for your CSCS card, call 0344 994 4777 and pay £36 using a credit or debit card. Your CSCS card will be posted out to you on the next working day.
