Coronavirus - Update
At Floortrain our focus, as always, is on the health and safety of our learners, associates and the communities we serve. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19.
Following the recent government advice, both our Doncaster and London Centres will be closed from Friday 20th March until we are advised otherwise. Our staff will continue to work from home and our Virtual Apprenticeship programme remains unaffected, allowing us to deliver guided training and learning activities remotely using our acclaimed mobile and tablet training application.
As we have planned for in our business continuity and contingency plan, we will now temporarily transfer all learners onto the Virtual Apprenticeship programme. This will allow learners to continue to progress on their apprenticeship learning journey. All learners will be allocated a dedicated support tutor, who will work with learners and employers on a 1 to 1 basis, visiting learners (where necessary) and guiding their learning activities, tasks and testing via the training application to ensure that our apprentices continue to make good progress with no breaks in learning.
In light of the ongoing Coronavirus developments, the Senior Management Team at Floortrain will continue to evaluate our policies and procedures on a daily basis and will adjust and communicate them as needed in order to ensure the safety of our learners, associates and our staff.
